MOLDOVA GETS NEW PROJECT ON INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
On 10 December 2014, the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Gariella Battaini-Dragoni and Ambassador Arnold De Fine Skibsted of Denmark signed a contract for the new project on “Support to criminal justice reforms in the Republic of Moldova”. The main objective of the project is to improve human rights protection and rule of law, including effective national implementation of European and international instruments, in Moldova, through the strengthening of key actors in relation to justice and vulnerable groups. It will last 36 months with a total budget of 2 million Euros.
The project team will be based in the Council of Europe Chisinau Office. The project will start from 1 January 2015. |
